Truth be told, I’m not one for speeches so bear with me. I honestly can’t believe that just a year ago, TylerBlackburn.net was only starting out. I was just a fan who admired Tyler’s work and wanted to show my support for him in the best way I knew how, creating a site for his fans. I wasn’t sure what to expect to be honest but, almost instantly I felt like I was home in this tight little group of Tyler fans. I was and am very happy to be a part of this fan-family, I don’t know if I’ve ever met so many people who are so absolutely supportive and dedicated to someone’s career like I have with Tyler. I’ve spoken to a few of you since the start, and hopefully I’ll talk to many more of you as the site continues to grow. I hope to keep this site as up to date as possible for you guys for years to come and with your continued support, that will definitely happen.
I can’t end this lovely post without giving some credit where it’s due. So, with that being said I have a few people I’d like to thank.
Right off the bat, I’ve got to thank you, the fans. You are the water this little ship of a site floats on and without you, the site would be sitting in the sand. Your love and support of Tyler and his career is what this site is all about, being able to keep you guys up to date is what makes it fun for me. As I mentioned before, I hope to talk to and get to know many more of you guys. You’re amazing and THANK YOU for your support.
Carol – you are forever my partner in crime. My best friend, worst enemy and support system. I know I can be a pain, constantly overanalyzing and overthinking even the smallest details, especially when it comes to my sites, but you always handle my crazy with grace. You’re always quick to tell me how it is and what you think and without that, I don’t know what I would do. Thank you for being the positive voice in my head when I was so unsure about opening this site, you’ve always had my back and supported me & my decisions. Love ya sister <3!
Nat, Megan, Anne, Hanna & Corinna – From the moment this site opened, I felt like I was part of this little PLL family, and that’s all thanks to you guys. Right off the bat, you were all so welcoming and sweet, and you’re honestly some of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
And last but, absolutely not least I’ve got to thank the man himself – Tyler. Without you there would be no TylerBlackburn.net. You are an amazing talent sir. You have a way of bringing characters to life and to make us feel what they’re feeling. You pull us in their little world and bring us along for their struggles and triumphs, happiness and sadness and I can’t help but respect you for it. You haven’t let the ways of fame or Hollywood change you. I truly admire that. And on top of it all, you don’t forget the little guys, the fans who love and support you through this journey. I also want to thank you for the support you constantly show for the site as well. To some, things like retweets on Twitter may not seem like much but to me; it shows that you see and support your fans just as much as we support you. You’re definitely one of a kind.
